What does that mean?
Back when I was in high school, I came up with this term I call "productive procrastination." Which was basically me procrastinating on completing my assignments by doing something else that was 'productive.' Usually, that was baking. And by baking, I mean making Betty Crocker boxed cakes and brownies.
Fast forward 15 years, I've now come to recognize baking as my self-care outlet. Whenever I'm feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed (which happens a lot as a parent), I can lose myself in baking and come out the end with something delicious to eat. Now I don't just bake when I'm feeling down, I bake when I'm inspired, excited, and motivated to see what new creations I can achieve.
So let me Bake My Feels for you, because my family can't handle all of this sugar intake 😅

Are your treats Nut-Free? Gluten-Free? Dairy-Free? Diabetic-Friendly?
I have a nut/peanut allergy so everything I bake is guaranteed to be nut-free!
However, all treats do contain gluten, dairy and often have high levels of sugar. I am working on creating diabetic-friendly adaptations to my recipes.
What flavours do you offer?

Honestly, I don't know why but me and Red Velvet just don't get along. I've tried a number of different recipes/techniques and I can't seem to master it.

How much does it cost?
Yes, I do offer delivery. Here are the rates:
Pickering/Ajax/Whitby - $15
Durham Region - $25
Toronto and York Region - $40
Pick-up is in Ajax, Ontario. I do not currently deliver to Peel Region or beyond.
Can you recreate a cake if I send you a picture?
Cake decorating is an artform, and while I'll do my best to use an image as an inspiration, it's almost impossible to recreate another artists' work exactly. I am always transparent with my current skill level and will let you know which designs and techniques I am confident I can execute.
Are you approved to operate by the Health Department?
Yes, I am I approved and registered as a Home-Based Food Premise under the Ontario Food Premises Regulation (O. Reg. 493/17). I have a valid Food Handler Certification and my home kitchen is subject to regular inspections by the Durham Region Health Department.
